No photos or art work today, just a straight up rant…..

Something has been irking me lately and it’s exactly what I coin “The Pussification of America.”
On the flip side, I’m sure this article will get me in a lot of heat, mainly by those who are contributing to the weakness.

There is a rare breed of people out there who are also ranting about this and will understand where I am coming from, regardless of being male or female. I have a funny feeling it’s on the minds of many and I do not stand alone.

Not sure what’s going on in other countries, but in the states we’ve got one too many strained hamstrings, too much “I’m tired”, too much “I just gotta get my mind into it” B.S. floating around.

Weak Bodies have become common place and the age range is REALLY starting to stretch. Did you ever think there would come a day when a 6 year old would say he / she doesn’t want to play? Did you ever think that running 2 minutes would exhaust someone? I NEVER imagined such days would come, but they have come and they are HERE...

What is Crossfit Summer Hockey Conditioning Camp?

Intense application of basic physical movement. First, we make our athletes experts at basic compound movements like squats, deadlifts, presses, and cleans. Then we take them to the next level through creative workouts that combine elements of weight lifting, calisthenics, sprinting, Strongman, gymnastics, kettlebells, and more.

 

Want an example? A typical Trainer will split up an athlete's week into body parts and add a bunch of distance running. In contrast, we'll focus on movements like hip extension, explosive technique, and challenge-based workouts. By training MOVEMENTS, not individual MUSCLES by themselves, we make a better athlete.

 

Parents: you'll be secure in the knowledge that if your son or daughter has to play in another city, they'll know how to take care of their own training safely and effectively. Because we first emphasize mastery of the basics, they'll always know how to exercise without risk of injury AND for maximum benefit in limited time.

 

MAKE THE CUT. DON'T LEAVE YOUR TRAINING UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE!

Kids Program Starts in June!!!!

Are you looking for something to take you to the next level of performance? Do you want to stand out on the field, court, or in the gym or simply look and feel better? Parents…are you looking to get your kids active and out from behind the computer or video games? If you answered yes to either one, then CrossFit is the answer. Kids, you may think that you are in great shape and that you should just continue playing Wii fit, jogging, and doing countless reps of bicep curls, leg presses, and bench presses. Simply take one CrossFit class and after you peel yourself off the ground after 30 minutes of working out, you will realize just how far you have to go.

CrossFit is the “Sport of Fitness” and as such you will be required to focus on the dynamic elements of athleticism, including balance, coordination, speed, power, endurance, and accuracy. This is the strength and conditioning program of choice for Mixed Martial Arts, S.W.A.T., Navy Seals, Police and Fire units, and elite sports worldwide. You will push and pull heavy weights, run, row , climb and jump at a very high level of intensity. This program will definitely push you beyond limits you did not think possible. However, you will love it because you will have never seen results like this before.

I encourage you to watch some of the videos on our site and the main page. The men and women in these videos may intimidate you and you may think that you could never perform at such a level. This was once the belief of many of our members who have since watched themselves transform into someone who is capable of anything. In time, you will no longer be intimidated by the people in the videos, but rather you will strive to compete with them.
